Madison/Waunakee
Brian Kessenich passed away peacefully during the evening of Saturday, April 13th, following many years of health challenges. He was born in Madison on August 10, 1955 and spoke often regarding his memories growing up in Waunakee.
Brian was passionate about music and sports, and enjoyed sharing his knowledge on both subjects with his many friends. His generosity with those less fortunate was legendary even when he had little to give.
His parents, Robert and Lillias (Fitzgerald) Kessenich, and brother Randy preceded him in passing. Brian’s brother Tom and sisters, Linda (Rob) Perez and Sue (Greg) Lehman and their families are finding comfort in knowing Brian has found the peace he has so earned.
Our family will be forever grateful to those who provided support and wonderful care of Brian over the past couple months including the staffs at St. Mary’s Hospital, Madison Health and Rehabilitation Center, and Agrace Hospice Care.
A private family burial was conducted at St John’s Cemetery with Winn-Cress Funeral Home, Waunakee, assisting with the arrangements. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to The Yahara House, 802 East Gorham St., Madison, WI 53703-1524 in Brian’s memory.
