Brian Michael Santos

Brian Michael Santos age 69 passed away on Saturday January 11, 2025, after a long illness at Nazareth Nursing Home in Stoughton, WI. 

He was born on October 23,1955 to the proud parents of William J and Virginia C (Schneider) Santos. Brian would go on to marry Peggy Huseth on March 30, 1985, and would welcome their daughter Ashley a year later. Shortly afterwards adopting Peggy's daughter Pamela.

Brian worked for Bancroft Dairy in Madison, WI for 20+years before taking an early retirement due to an old injury. Brian and his family moved around a bit from Verona, Madison, Sun Prairie and Fitchburg before returning back to Stoughton where he had grown up. 

Brian enjoyed fishing, camping, cooking and being with his family. He enjoyed being outdoors and talking with people who would not only become his friend but would be thought of as family. Brian had a huge heart and would always try to help anyone. He never let anyone leave his home with a hungry belly.

He is survived by his wife Peggy Santos, daughter Pamela (Harvey) Putman, grandchildren: Izaiah Santos, Jayson Robles, Kaden Robles and Ashleigh Putman; sisters: Kim Ceesay, Tina Kunjo, Amy (Jeff) Elsner, and Mary Santos. Along with 3 great grandchildren and many other family and friends. 

He is proceeded in death by his daughter Ashley Santos, brothers: David and Edward Santos, and both parents William J. Santos and Virginia C. Santos. 

Brian's family would like to thank Nazareth and Agrace Hospice for their care and support for Brian. 

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday January 21, 2025, at CRESS FUNERAL HOME, 206 W. Prospect St. Stoughton, WI. 53589 with Rev. Rex Wegner presiding. Visitation will be from 12:00pm until the service on Tuesday at the funeral home.
