Brian Paul Smith

Brian Paul Smith died on Monday, November 30, 2009. Born May 24, 1958 in East St. Louis, IL, son of Stuart and Polly (Hendrick) Smith. Brian grew up in Loves Park, IL and was a 30 year resident of Madison. He was a published genealogist and an avid researcher of family history. He also enjoyed collecting books and had a particular interest in the history of Madison and Dane County.

Brian is survived by his parents, sister Carolyn (Steve) Rink, brother-in-laws Paul Komiskey and Pete (Laurie) Gianquinto, nieces Amanda and Megan, and nephew Kalen. Predeceased by sister Emily Gianquinto.

Services at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, December 5 at Madison-West Cress Funeral Home, 3610 Speedway Road, Madison, WI. Reverend Peder Carlson Emeritus and Reverend Eric Keller, Senior Pastor, both of Bethany Presbyterian Church, Loves Park, IL will be officiating.
