Brian K. Walrack, age 41, was taken from his earthly family on Tuesday, March 22, 2011 due to complications from diabetes. Brian was born on December 19, 1969 in Madison. He was a brave soldier in his health battle, never complaining or asking ""why me""? Brian served in the US Navy from 1995-1996. He worked for three construction companies: DP McMahon in 1996, Accurate from 1996-2006 (where his nickname was ""The Beef"") and for Jeff Wood from 2006-2009. Â Brian was powerful but gentle with a heart of gold and was always willing to help anyone who needed him. Â He loved riding in the Ford F50 and picking up recyclables. Being impressively large and strong, he could lift an entire washing machine without assistance. Brian was an avid Packer Fan, keeping score and tracking names of the players. Â Brian is survived by his father, Keith Walrack (Sylvia); his mother, Vicky L. Clark (Bernard); brothers: Dan (Tiffany), Mike (Donelle), and David. Brian is also survived by his high-school sweetheart, Kris and her son, Austin. On his mother's side, he is survived by numerous aunts and uncles, including: Elizabeth Troxell, Kim M. Shlvely, Robert G. Horal (Becky), Imran Kahn (Kim); and cousins: Angel, Alan, Tammy, Lisa, Toby, Jamie, Lynde, Mike, Mathew, Patty, Barbie, Debra, and Bobby. Â Brian was preceded in death by a brother, Tommy; maternal grandparents, Robert and Margaret Horal; great-grandmother, Violet; step-father, Leland D. Clark; aunts, Roberta Gene Lee Elderton Conklin and Aunt Robin. Â The family wishes to thank the staff of Meriter Hospital for the special care Brian received for the 23 days he spent in the Intensive Care Unit. In lieu of flowers, a donation toward funeral expenses would be appreciated. Â A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 am on Saturday, March 26, 2011 at Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary Catholic Church, 221 Columbus St. Sun Prairie. A luncheon will follow at the VFW in Sun Prairie after the trip to the cemetery. A visitation will be held on Friday, March 25th at Cress Funeral Home, Sun Prairie from 4 until 7 pm.
