Brooklyn Kahl

SUN PRAIRIE Brooklyn Marie Kahl, age 1 of Sun Prairie passed away November 23, 2019. She was born November 15, 2018 in Madison, the daughter of Jeremy Kahl and Katie Michels.

Brooklyn had a sweet and determined personality. She enjoyed many things such as dancing to music, blowing raspberries, walking, hiding underneath laundry baskets and playing peek-a-boo. She loved looking out the window, taking walks, playing on the swings and exploring her surroundings. Brooklyn had a fascination with books and story time at the library, splashing in the bathtub and animals, especially her cat Izzy. Looking in the mirror and snacking on Puffs always brightened her day. She had the sweetest smile, biggest eyes and longest eyelashes that made everybody jealous. Clapping, waving, and standing were some of her proudest moments. Brooklyn always enjoyed being around family and touched the hearts of many.

Brooklyn is survived by her parents Jeremy Kahl and Katie Michels, paternal grandparents Kenyon and Brenda Kahl, great grandparents Kendall and Kay Kahl, Virgil and Joan Paar, great-great grandmother Janis Hacker, maternal grandparents Jeff and Lynn Mair, great grandparents Carl and Nancy Juer and Dan Werlinger. Further survived by uncles and aunts Dylan (Jessica) Kahl, Shannon Kahl, Andrew Michels, Kasey Mair, Taylor Mair, Matthew (Taiece) Inda, Christopher (Kim) Inda, Daniel Inda, and Alexander Inda, along with many extended family members. Brooklyn was preceded in death by great-great grandparents Curtis and Willetta Kahl, Ear Hacker as well as Joesph and Frances Cooper, great grandparents Francine Werlinger, Dennis and Dalores Mair and John Ries.

A visitation for Brooklyn will be on Monday, December 2, 2019 at 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM at CRESS FUNERAL SERVICE 1310 Emerald Terrace, Sun Prairie WI 53590. Following the visitation at 12:00 PM will be a burial at SUN PRAIRIE CEMETARY, 200 Grove Street, Sun Prairie WI 53590.

A Funeral Service will be at 11:00 am on Monday, December 2, 2019 at the Cress Funeral Service, 1310 Emerald Terrace, Sun Prairie, WI 53590 with Pastor Charlie Brandt presiding. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 9:00 am until time of service. Brooklyn will be brought to her place of rest at Sun Prairie Cemetery.
