Bruce Corcoran

DeForest: Bruce E. Corcoran, age 56, passed away unexpectedly at home, February 2, 2012 of a stroke. He was born January 19, 1956 in Madison the son of Donald "Doc", and Marion Corcoran. He was a 1974 graduate of James Madison Memorial, where he was a drummer in the band, and lettered in football. He is also a graduate of MATC with a degree in Hotel Management. Bruce bartended for many years at many Madison establishments, and also was a food salesman for Proctor and Gamble, Sysco and Hawkeye Foods. Due to his love for cars, his career path moved to automotive, with his last position being office manager at Parks Automotive. Bruce enjoyed watching football and hockey games, and going to car shows in his Pontiac GTO's. He was a friend to everyone he knew, always a smile on his face, and a joke to tell, and he would never hesitate to help. Bruce is survived by his partner in life, Sue Kramer, his daughter Erin, Mother Marion Corcoran, and brother Lawrence M. "Larry" Corcoran. He was preceded in death by his father "Doc", and numerous aunts and uncles. A memorial gathering will be held from 11:00 am until 4:00 pm on Saturday, February 11, 2012 at the FEILER'S NIGHT CLUB, 4506 Verona Road, Madison WI 53711. The family requests no flowers please.
