Bruce Gordon Lowrey born September 27, 1955, in Viroqua WI, died unexpectedly on Tuesday November 8, 2022. Bruce born to Gordon and Lucille (Parker) Lowrey was the 6th child in a family of 14 children.

He graduated from Deerfield High School in 1974. He worked for the Sta-Rite Corporation in Deerfield and moved with the company to Delevan to complete his employment. He worked for Sta-Rite for 29 years. Bruce has been self-employed for several years.

Bruce married and divorced Kristie Johnson of Cambridge, they have 2 children. Gregory of Friesland, and Aubrey McCredie (Brad) of Stoughton; granddaughters, Jade & Jordyn.

Bruce then married his soulmate, the love of his life, Chris Deahr of Iowa, on May 28, 2003. Chris had four son’s that Bruce immediately became a father figure to: BJ (Nicole) Magnuson and their daughters Ella and Alice of Cottage Grove, Eric (Liz) Magnuson of California, Jason Jirschele of Edgerton, and Brad Jirschele of Madison. Bruce is further survived by his mother, Lucille Lowrey of Deforest; sisters, Connie (Don) Bollig of Sun Prairie, Cheryl (David) Kilburg of Fort Atkinson, Judy (Todd) Kinnaird of Cambridge; brothers, Steve (Barb) of Monroe, Dennis (Sandie) of Ludington, Michigan, Jim (Linda) of Cambridge, Kevin (Christine) of Cambridge, Brian of Waterloo, David (Kim) Stoughton, Dan (Barbi) of Marshall, Tim (Roanna) of Pewaukee, Brad of Whitewater, and Jeff (Clint) of Milton; niece and God daughter, Stephanie Kilburg of Fort Atkinson; nephew and God son, Jared Lowrey of Marshall; father-in-Law Lloyd Deahr of Iowa; brother and sister-in-law, Mike and Sue Deahr of Iowa; mother-in-law, Louise Deahr of Menominee Falls; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends, who adored the man that he was. Bruce lived his life to the fullest, whether hunting, golfing or just spending time with family. Bruce was preceded in death by his father, Gordon Lowrey; grandparents, Evan and Dolly Lowrey and Buford and Beulah Parker; and niece, Michelle Kilburg.

Bruce’s greatest joys in life were his granddaughters! He loved spending time with all of them.

He had the biggest heart for others and would give you the shirt off his back. We celebrate his love of family, people, hunting and fishing. He has left a void that cannot be filled.

We love and miss you with everything that we are, until we meet again.

Funeral services will be held at 12 noon on Saturday, November 12, 2022 at Grace Lutheran Church, 501 Skogen Road, Cambridge, with Rev. Jennifer Jelilnek officiating. Friends and relatives are invited to a luncheon, immediately following the services, in the church fellowship hall. Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until the time of services Saturday at church.
