Bruce Mares

Bruce Mares, age 60, died Saturday, Feb. 26, 2011, at home. He was born April 9, 1950, in Minnesota to Glenn ""Joseph"" Mares and Katherine Margret (Labeau) Mares. ""There are things that we don't want to happen but have to accept, things we don't want to know but have to learn, and people we can't live without but have to let go."" - unknown author Bruce spent most of his time doing the one thing he loved to do and that was entertaining people with his beautiful music. Survivors include Katherine Beniot, Gail Mulcahey and Karen Burke; stepdaughter, Raschel (Cesar); stepgrandchildren, Alejandro, Arianna, Abram and Ariela; and nieces and nephew, Schuyler, Aurora and Lindsey. He was preceded in death by his father, ""Glenn""; and life partner, Shari Hotchkiss. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, March 5, 2011, at CRESS FUNERAL HOME, 3325 E.
