Madison - Bruce B. Mohs, age 82, died Sunday, February 1, 2015. Bruce was born on October 29, 1932 in Madison to the late Carl and Doris (nee Baldwin) Mohs. Bruce was a lifelong Madison resident. He attended college at Southern Methodist University in Dallas, TX, and after graduating he proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force as a 2nd Lieutenant serving during the Cold War in Newfoundland. In 1963, he married the love of his life, Jeannette Hight. Together they celebrated 51 years of marriage. To say Bruce was a bit eccentric would be an understatement. He was an inventor, entrepreneur, pilot, automotive manufacturer, writer, lecturer, traveled to over 100 countries, battleship maker and most importantly, a loving husband and father who was always full of surprises. Bruce was active in the Madison community, volunteering with the Hiram Lodge #50, Rotary Club of West Madison, and the Shriners.
Bruce is survived by his wife Jeannette, 2 daughters; Julia Mohs and Kathy (Omar) Mohs Lopez, 1 son; Eric Mohs, 1 grandson; Micah Mohs Lopez, 1 brother; Carl Mohs Jr and his family.
