Cade Chandler Reddington unexpectedly passed away November 4, 2021, at the age of 18, in his dorm at UW-Milwaukee. Cade was born in Madison, WI on November 22, 2002 and was a 2021 graduate of Waunakee Community High School. Cade will always be remembered for his ability to make friends with whomever he met, his exuberant and good-natured personality, the way he made saying “I love you” his mantra, his loving hugs and huge smile, and how he poured himself into helping others through struggles. He impacted so many lives in such a positive way through the love he shared.
During his high school years, Cade loved wrestling, being on the tennis team, and attending youth group for both Blackhawk and North Ridge churches. Cade loved impressing people with his backflips, skateboarding, snowboarding at Tyrol Basin, working at Play It Again Sports, listening to music, watching sunsets with his friends, and travel adventures with his family. He had a huge passion for adventure and bringing joy to every situation. He wanted to travel the world and not be contained by traditional social norms.
Cade is survived by his parents, Michelle Kullmann Reddington and David (Hope) Reddington; his beloved big brother, Ross Reddington; stepbrother, Andrew Wegert; his grandparents, Phillip and Gloria Kullmann and Marjorie Reddington; his loving Schaubroeck future stepfamily; dear cousins; and aunts and uncles. Cade is preceded in death by his grandfather, Edwin R. Reddington, and uncle, James R. Reddington.
Cade’s visitation will be held Saturday November 13, 2021 from 9:00-11:00 AM at Blackhawk Church, 9620 Brader Way, Middleton, WI, followed by a Celebration of Life at 11:00 AM. Cade would want a festive atmosphere, so we welcome his friends to wear white and for others to dress colorfully. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Cade Reddington Memorial Fund for the Prevention of Drug and Alcohol Abuse. The family will be researching organizations that focus on education and prevention to help save lives. paypal.me/CadeReddington
