Carl Nachreiner

Waunakee - Carl R. Nachreiner, age 58, passed away unexpectedly on August 13, 2015. Carl was born on August 26, 1956 in Portage, Wisconsin, the son of Ralph and Pauline Nachreiner.

Carl was a graduate of UW-River Falls, and a current employee of Landmark Services Cooperative. He spent his entire life with farming, working with farmers as an agronomist and through his love of gardening.

He is survived by his wife, Virginia "Ginny" Nachreiner; sons Rich and Jim Nachreiner; brother Curt (Sandy) Nachreiner, sister Gail (John) Hartman; and Ginny's children, Tim and Steve Connor and Lori Connnor Tracy; 13 grandchildren and numerous other relatives. He was preceded in death by his dad, Ralph Nachreiner and his nephew, Robert Nachreiner.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, August 18, 2015 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 209 South Street, Waunakee with Monsignor James Gunn presiding. A visitation will be held at the church from 9:30 am until the time of Mass. A reception will follow the Mass in the St. John's School next to the church. A private burial ceremony will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be designated at a later date.
