Carl H. Paddison

Carl H. Paddison died on March 3, 2025. He was 79.

A long time sports enthusiast, he was an avid cross-country skier, bicyclist, and volleyball player. He loved both individual and team competitions; this included on line bridge and pool in later years.

Carl found joy in visiting his family crop farm on a yearly basis. It is situated in the small town of Pana, Illinois where he was born and where he spent youthful summers.

Rocks and stones of all shapes, colors and sizes were his passion. Whether he found them outside or purchased them, he lovingly scattered them throughout his home and gave them away to friends.

Carl was keenly interested in animals of all kinds whether wild in nature, in his backyard or shown on television. His most cherished animals were his domesticated pet cats of which there have many over the years.

Carl is survived by his wife of 39 years, Susan, his brother, Sam, sister-in-law, Jean, 2 nieces, and his beloved cat, Alley.
