Sun Prairie-Carol G. Fox, age 65, passed away on Monday, October 19, 2009 at St. Mary's Hospital, Sun Prairie after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born on June 8, 1944 in Richland Center, WI the daughter of Bernard & Norma (Nelson) Repsumer. Carol was united in marriage to Lyle O. Fox on February 17, 1973 at Our Savior's Lutheran Church, Sun Prairie. She was a longtime resident of Sun Prairie and member of Our Savior's Lutheran Church. Carol was proud of the job she had, that of homemaker for her husband, children and grandchildren. She is survived by her husband of 36 years, Lyle of Sun Prairie; her children, Kelly (Korey) Frey, Cottage Grove, Misty Soares, Gilroy Grove, CA, and Joe Fox, Sun Prairie; her grandchildren, Kaitlyn & Kyle Frey and Tyler & Jarrett Soares; sister-in-law, Ruth Repsumer, Idaho and brother-in-law, Wayne E. Fox, Boaz, WI; her faithful canine companion, Megan, other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Charles. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, October 23, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at Our Savior's Lutheran Church, 550 Lincoln Dr., Sun Prairie, with Rev. Julie Krahn officiating. Burial will be in the Fancy Creek Cemetery, Richland Center. Family and friends are invited to call on Thursday, October 22, 2009 at the Cress Funeral Home, Sun Prairie from 5-8:00 p.m. and on Friday at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Memorials would be appreciated to Our Savior's Lutheran Church or the Zor Shrine.
