Caroline Louise Rasey

Sun Prairie-Caroline L. Rasey, age 77, passed peacefully away on January 13, 2010 at her home.  She was born on August 29, 1932 in Oshkosh the daughter of Joseph & Louise (Jungwirth) Sperl.  Caroline was united in marriage to Leonard Rasey on September 2, 1950 in Dubuque, IA.  She has been a longtime resident of Sun Prairie.Caroline was employed for 25 years as a waitress at the Hoffman House Supper Club retiring in 1984.  In her spare time she enjoyed gardening, reading medical books and journals and spending time with her family, friends and beloved pets.  She is survived by her children which include a son Steven Rasey; daughters, Bonnie (Garry) Betley of Homer AK, Tammy Rasey of Mazomanie WI and Kris Rasey of Chugiak AK; grandchildren, Matthew Rasey of Albuquerque NM, Joshua (Chantal) Rasey of El Paso TX and Natalie Betley of Oakdale CA; great grandchildren, Kimberly, Makayla and Emily Rasey of El Paso TX and Kaia Borba of Oakdale CA; her dogs, Frankie and Cynder and cats, Tipper, Topper, RT & Yoda; other relatives and special friends Joyce Rasey, Donna Skudal, Don Thompson, Betty Cardarella and Ellie White. Caroline was preceded in death by her husband on August 21, 2001 and her parents. She will be greatly missed by her family and all of her friends. She was a wonderful, caring and lovely person. Honoring her wishes there will be no formal service or visitation.
