Carolyn Boyd Seaver Rowe

Carolyn Boyd Seaver Rowe, age 84, passed away on Mon. June 8, 2009. Carolyn was born Dec. 27, 1924 in Albany, New York. Carolyn received her bachelor's degree in Physiological Chemistry from Smith College in North Hampton, Massachusetts and a master's degree in music from the University of Wisconsin, Madison. She played the church organ, worked as a school aide in Madison schools, loved her work with her C.H.I.P.S. Choir at Midvale Lutheran Church in Madison and also enjoyed making lovely thing with her hands. Carolyn is loved and remembered by her husband of 63 years, Carl B. Rowe; daughters, Sally Rowe (Bill Bauer), and Katharine (Craig) Richter; grandchildren, Hans Richter and Kearstin Richter Howard and great grandson Maxwell Howard. Carolyn was preceded in death by her mother, Katharine Schuyler Dermott Seaver; her father, Harry Seaver; her step mother Ruth Barker Seaver; her son, John Rowe and great granddaughter, Charlotte Howard. There will be a Memorial Service on Thurs. June 11, 2009 at 1:00 p. m. at RESURRECTION CHAPEL, OAKWOOD VILLAGE - WEST, 6205 Mineral Point Road.
