Carrie Louise Gray, age 43, passed away unexpectedly on January 1, 2014, at her home in Sun Prairie, Wisconsin. She was born on December 6, 1970, in Platteville, Wisconsin. Carrie lived in the Sun Prairie area for most her life, graduating from Sun Prairie High School and then from Edgewood College. She worked at Shopko Pharmacy while going to school, and later for the Wisconsin Department of Health Services. She moved to Phoenix, Arizona in 2011, working there for almost two years, and moved backed to Sun Prairie in March 2013.
Carrie was an avid sports fan and watched the Badgers and Packers, high school sports, NCAA football and basketball, the Chicago Blackhawks, and the Phoenix Coyotes. She was our color commentator for our sporting events. She stayed connected to so many friends through social media. Carrie remembered every birthday and anniversary. She could pick out the perfect Hallmark card for each person for each occasion. Family was the most important thing in her life. What a wonderful daughter, sister, aunt, niece, cousin and friend! We admired her strength, spirit, and independence. She was a courageous example for all of us. "Angels among us"--she was one of those angels.
Carrie is survived by her parents, Tom and Paula Gray of Sun Prairie; sisters, Jennifer (Jay) Taylor of Windsor, Wisconsin, and Stephanie Gray of Gainesville, Florida. She is also survived by her niece, Mallory Taylor and nephew, Thomas John (TJ) Taylor. These two children were loved so much by their Aunt Carrie. She is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.
Carrie was preceded in death by her grandparents, Paul and Lois Vesperman, Bud and Myrna Gray, and Aunt Peggy Vesperman, and Aunt Lynn Gray, and cousin, Joe Waldron.
We will miss you so much!

"If ever there is tomorrow when we're not together ... there is something you must always remember. You are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think. But the most important thing is, even if we're apart...I'll always be with you. A.A. Milne
