Charles Triller II

December 29, 1949 — November 7, 2009

Charles ""Skip"" Joseph Triller II, passed away on November 7, 2009 at University Hospital, Madison following a tragic event that led to a critical injury.   He was born on January 29, 1949 in Buffalo, NY to Charles and Charlotte Triller.   Skip moved to Madison, WI with his family in 1955.   Following his graduation from Eau Claire University in 1972 with a degree in psychology; wanting to experience the beauty of nature, Skip moved to Alaska.   His greatest joy, in addition to his family, was helping others less fortunate than himself.   He cherished his extended family at his job at the Madison Senior Center.   His eloquent way of communicating was a gift and touched many. Skip is survived by his children Amy Mathison (Sparta), Erin Triller (Madison), Charles Joseph ""Josh"" III, (Madison), former wife Susan Dushek (San Diego), 3 grandchildren, Shaina, Jordyn and Jazmine Triller, brothers Shawn, Keith (Laurie) of Madison and sister Sharon Kaltenberg (Michael) of Roberts, many nieces and nephews, cousins and aunts and uncles.   He is preceded in death by his parents Charles and Charlotte Triller. Friends are invited to join the family for visitation and a memorial which will be held Friday November 13, 2009 from 3-6 pm at the Madison Senior Center, 330 W. Mifflin Street in Madison.   The family would like to recognize the staff at University Hospital for their excellent care of Skip during this time and especially thank Dr. Kene Ugokwe and Nurses Kelly, Lara, Amy and Neil for their sensitive and caring approach to our family.     In lieu of flowers the family has set up a trust through M&I Bank for the Charles Triller Children's Fund, 3002 Post Road, Madison, WI   53713.   May the road rise up to meet you. May the wind always be at your back. May the sun shine warm upon your face, and rains fall soft upon your fields. And until we meet again, May God hold you in the palm of His hand.
