Charlotte Spach-Morauske

February 25, 1927 — September 18, 2021

February 25, 1927 – September 18, 2021 Charlotte Spach-Morauske, 94 of Sun Prairie Wisconsin died with her family around her.

Charlotte was born to Lena Rebecca Allegar and Amos Erman Price in Wisconsin.  Her siblings who also proceeded her in death were Evelyn, Erma, Mildred, Carol, Merwin, and Melford, her twin brother.

She was a family lady who devoted her life and attention to her two children, five grandchildren, and 14 great grandchildren.  When asked to tell who influenced her life profoundly she wrote:

“I have been influenced most by my family.  They taught me to love

have patience, kindness humility and the labor of love.  They have

taught me the true meaning of love and to care…I have been taught

to worry, laugh, cry, and above all they have taught me to pray which

brought me closer to God and to have faith.  Their smiles have made

me the luckiest person in the world.”

She often reported to family that she would stop and pray over her family when she walked by their pictures.

She was a bank teller for many years and a loyal friend to her colleagues.  She was an avid seamstress and quilter, making pillows and quilts  She patched up her grandsons’ jeans when they got holes in them, hemmed up pants for a son-in-law, made alterations for her daughter-in-law, and used “stretch and sew” to make clothing for herself and grandchildren.

She is survived by her two children Sharon (Durwood) Clark from Fontana, California and Gordon (Rebecca) Morauske from Sun Prairie Wisconsin.  Grandchildren were Tom (Debbie), Morauske, Tina (Craig) Tautges, Joe (Mandy) Morauske, Melissa (Eric), Hanson and Lance (Sara) Perkins.  She loved their spouses as if they were her own.

Great Grandchildren were Cody Montana, Sophia, Montana, Reid, Ella, Bryce, Griffin, Ava, Cole, Carson, Tony, Cameron, Mia, and Joey.
