Chee Chung Leung passed away on June 11, 2010 after a short, but valiant, battle with pancreatic cancer.  His death occurred quickly after returning from a recent visit with family and friends in Hong Kong.  Mr. Leung, who  became a naturalized United States citizen in 1999, was the patriarch of the Leung family who have owned and run the Hong Kong Cafe in Madison for many years.  Mr. Leung has been a vital member and charitable contributor of the Madison community.  The Leung family has annually fed, at family expense , all Madison residents who appeared for the Hong Kong Cafe's annual Labor Day lunch.  At times, members of the Madison community have lined up for blocks to be provided this meal served by the Leung family for the last 19 years.  The meal continues each year until everyone has been fed. Mr. Leung is survived by his wife of 51 years, Miu Hung Kam, his son Siu Wah (Terry): his daughter Yee Man (Shirley), and husband Kai Fat Lee, son Siu Hong (Hong); son Siu Cheung (Philip), and son Siu Wing (Wing).  Mr Leung was also the proud grandfather of Kay Yi (Corrie) Lee and Yung Hong (Kevin) Lee.  A Visitation will be held from 8:00 am until 10:00 am on Thursday, June 17, 2010 at CRESS FUNERAL  HOME, 3610 Speedway Rd. Madison.  A service of family remembrance will be held at 9:30 am, with burial following  at Sunset Memory Gardens. Â
