Chris Gallenbeck

Beaver Dam - Chris J. Gallenbeck, age 33, passed away peacefully on December 25, 2015 after his courageous battle with cancer. He was born August 5, 1982 in Beaver Dam to Kathryn and Ronald Gallenbeck. Chris graduated from Beaver Dam High School in 2001 and began working on multiple farms. He was currently working at United Cooperative in Beaver Dam. Chris was united in marriage to Trista McDowell on September 19, 2015. He was an avid lover of farming, dirt track racing and collecting farm toys. Chris loved spending time on his buddy Andy's farm.

Chris is survived by his loving wife Trista, his mother Kathryn Gallenbeck, sister Jennifer Gallenbeck, grandfather Arnold Gallenbeck Sr., mother-in-law Kim McDowell, father-in-law's Alan Gavanda and Bruce Smith, sister-in-law Tierney (Chris) Cornelius, brother-in-law Darrell (Rose) Henne, uncle Gary (Roseanna) Bauer, many nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his father Ronald Gallenbeck, his grandparents: Charlotte Bauer, Robert Bauer and Winette Gallenbeck, uncle Arnold Gallenbeck Jr., sister-in-law Brea McDowell and close family friend Patricia Swan.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, January 9th at 2pm at Pella Lutheran Church, 315 S Madison St, Waupun, WI. A visitation at church will take place beginning at 11am until the time of the service.

Memorials may be made to the family.
