Christina Dolan

Monona- Christina Ann Dolan, age 52, passed away surrounded by loved ones on Thursday, December 8, 2022. She fought a short but brave battle with cancer. Christina was born August 21, 1970, the daughter of Larry and Peggy (Pulvermacher) Brown.

Christina graduated from Deerfield High School in 1988. She worked a few different jobs over the years, but found her home with Torcom over the past few years as an afterhours call operator.

Christina loved spending time with her family as much as possible. Especially her three children and her grandson. She would spend her Thursdays off at the airport with her grandson so they could watch the planes take off and land. Her grandson loved it and this was their special bonding time together.

Christina was a kind, funny, strong, and loving person. She would do anything for anyone if she could. Her smile and quick wit could light up a room. Christina will be greatly missed by many friends and family.

Christina is survived by her children, Ryan Brown on Pardeeville, Sean (Jamie Mabury) Powell of Milton, and Caysie Dolan of Stoughton; grandchildren, Zander and Lilly; her mother, Peggy (Gene) Brown-Bakken of Deerfield; siblings, Cathy (Jeremy) Acker of Edgerton, Brenda Bakken of Fort Atkinson, Michael (Holly) Bakken of Fort Atkinson; nephews and nieces, Johnathan Miller, Kendra Miller, Hayle Acker, Piper Acker, Ashley Haggerty, Shawn Haggerty, and Hannah Bakken; and many more loving family members. She was preceded in death by her father, Larry Brown; sister, Carrie Brown; and grandparents, Fredrick and Mabel (Adkins) Pulvermacher, Paul and Joyce (Dahlk) Maurer, and Lyle and Nancy (Baker) Brown.

A celebration of Christina’s life will be held at the Railhouse in Deerfield from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Friday, December 16, 2022. All friends and family welcome. We will have a service with immediate family at a later date.

The family would love for anyone willing to share some of your favorite memories of Christina. You may write it in a card or just on a blank piece of paper and put it in the card box for the family to enjoy later. This will help us celebrate the kind, strong, funny, and loving person Christina was.
