Christina F. Kavanaugh, age 62, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Tuesday, November 7, 2018, after suffering Sjogren's Disease for 10 years.

Chris was born in Bloomington, Illinois on November 9, 1954, the daughter to Harvey and Darlene (Gottschall) Theel. She was united in marriage to Michael Kavanaugh on June 16, 1973. Together they raised three children.

Chris worked in the commercial insurance industry for 35 years. She loved to travel and was an avid Packer's and Badger's fan.

Chris is survived by her husband of 44 years, Michael; her children Kiersten, Ryan and Jennifer Kavanaugh; her sisters Brenda Rasmussen and Patty (Don) Ringstad; she also leaves behind many nieces and nephews., that she loved dearly.

She was preceded in death by her parents and sister and Brother- in- Law, Fran and Tom Gassen.

A celebration of life gathering will be held at Barrington Place Club House, 5201 Brookside Drive in Madison on Saturday, November 11, 2017 at 2:00 p.m.

The family would like to give special thanks to the TLC staff at University Hospital and family and friends for their love and compassion.
