Clair Arthur Haas

Sun Prairie -- Clair Arthur ""Bud"" Haas, age 79, passed away on Sunday, May 17, 2009, at his home in Sun Prairie. He was born on December 2, 1929, the son of Raymond and Esther (Dobroth) Haas. Bud was united in marriage to Carol Hegeman on May 19, 1956 in Dubuque, Iowa. Bud served in the Navy during the Korean Conflict. He enjoyed playing dartball, going fishing and watching the Packers or Brewers. Bud was little league coach in Sun Prairie and started girls little league. He really enjoyed the time he spent with his grandchildren.

Bud is survived by his loving wife of 52 years Carol Haas; his children, Deborah (Allen) Willey, Tom (Rose) Haas, Linda (Jeff) Peterson and David (Kimberly) Haas; 7 grandchildren, Michelle, Ashley, Valerie, Rachael, Sarah, Kayla and Dylan; a brother, John (Annette) Haas; a sister, Carol Kveen; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Bud was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Robert and Don Haas.

Funeral services will be held at OUR SAVIOR'S LUTHERAN CHURCH, 550 Lincoln Drive, Sun Prairie, on Thursday, May 21, 2009, at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor David J. Berggren officiating. A visitation will be held at the church on Thursday, May 21, 2009, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
