Clarence Anderson

Madison - Buck passed away on May 2, 2018 at Agrace Hospice Care after a lengthy illness. He was born July 13, 1938 in Lexington, MS to the late Samual and Pinkie (Henrix) Anderson.

Buck moved to Los Angeles, CA when he was 18, and then in 1968 to Madison, WI where he spent the rest of his life. During his time in Los Angeles he met and married Mary Lou (deceased), and from this union two children were born: Cynthia Anderson and Kevin Anderson. After his marriage ended he later met and married Roberta Futch (deceased). To this union they loved and raised 5 children.

He was employed and retired from Oscar Mayer's Foods after a 31 year career. He later worked for Mr. Mom's Transportation Company as a mechanic for 5 years before hanging it all up to just stay home and be retired with his lovely wife, Roberta.

Buck was an avid Green Bay Packers and sports fan. In his school years he enjoyed playing basketball and baseball. He often enjoyed cooking and loved gardening and growing his own vegetables in his back yard. He loved nice cars and spending time with his family, especially his grand and great-grandchildren. Buck will be remembered by his wit, laughter, and his love for the Blues.

Clarence "Buck" will be passionately remembered by his loving family and friends from Wisconsin-California-Michigan-Illinois-Mississippi. He is survived by his 6 children: Noreen and Janneen of Madison, WI; Frank of Bristol, CT; Cynthia and Kevin (Mia) Anderson of Los Angeles, CA; and Ricky (Sarah) of Fitchburg, WI; a sister Marjorie "Ree" Randall of Compton, CA; and a brother Lawrence Cecil Anderson of Madison, WI; a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, cousins, nieces, nephews, in-laws, and friends. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Mary Lou; his late wife, Roberta, a son Anthony "Tony" Randall; his parents Samuel and Pinkie Anderson; 4 brothers: William; Leon; Samuel (infant) and Samuel "Bay"Anderson: 3 sisters: Queen Anderson; O'lean Bingham; and Meckelin Devoe Smith.

Services will be held on Friday, May 4th at Cress Funeral and Cremation Service, 3610 Speedway Rd. Visitation will begin at 12:00 noon, with a Funeral Service at 1:00 pm. Burial will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens, followed by a repast back at the Funeral Home at 2:30 pm.
