Clarence Dlouhy

Clarence Dlouhy, age 97, passed away on Friday, November 6, 2009 at the HospiceCare Center in Fitchburg.  He was born on August 8, 1912 in Chicago, IL.  On August 31, 1934, he was united in marriage with Janet Huptych and she preceded him in death on Nov. 3, 2006. He was raised in the Chicago area and retired after 32 years of employment with The Chicago Sun Times working in the printing department. Clarence was a member of the Chicago Typographical Union for 62 years.  In 1982, he moved to Sun Prairie ( Wisconsin) to continue his lifelong passion of downhill skiing.  He is survived by his daughter, Patricia ""Trish"" McGuigan of Sun Prairie and other relatives.  Besides his wife, he was preceded in death by parents, brothers and sisters.  A private family service will be held in Sun Prairie Memory Gardens.
