Middleton-Clarence R. Meinholz, age 52, passed away on Tuesday, February 9, 2010 at his home. Clarence was born on March 7, 1957 in Madison, the son of Martin Sr. and Rosalia (Schroeder) Meinholz. He was a 1975 graduate of Middleton High School. Clarence had several jobs, including building silos for Kast Rite Silos. He was an expert trap shooter, earning several trophies. He had an Associate's Degree in Agriculture from  M.A.T.C.  In 1987, he took over the Meinholz  family farm, which has been in the family since 1867 and farmed until his motorcycle accident in 2001. He is survived by his pride and joy twin daughters, Ann and Emma; brothers and sisters, Matt (Marilyn) of Waunakee, Marty (Janet) of Waunakee, Cathy (Les) Breunig of Prairie du Sac, Rose Ann (LaVerne) Maier of Waunakee, Mary (LaVern) Wipperfurth of DeForest, Gerard (Darlene) of Middleton, Francis (Colleen) of Middleton and Virgil of Michigan. He is further survived by his former wife and friend Caryl Timm, Middleton and many nieces and nephews. Clarence was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Donald. Clarence chose to help others by being an organ and tissue donor. A prayer service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, February 13, 2010 at the Winn-Cress Funeral Home, Waunakee with Father Eugene F. Hollfelder presiding. Friends and family may greet the family from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will be held in St. Peter's Catholic Cemetery in Ashton. A luncheon will follow in the school hall in Ashton. Memorials may be given in his name to Options in Community Living, 22 N.
