Farm girl loses her navy boy, Clem Felsheim beloved husband of Laura (Michels) Felsheim died peacefully on Dec. 8, 2011 surrounded by his family. The son of George and Lillian Felsheim, Clem was born Sept. 16, 1926 in Arcadia, WI. He graduated from high school on a Friday in 1944 and entered the Navy the next Monday in the midst of WWII. He was very proud to be able to serve his country and the US flag was always flying at his home. In Nov. 2011 he was honored to be part of the Badger Honor flight to Washington DC with his brother George. Clem was one of five boys who all served in the military. Clem worked at Oscar Mayer until his retirement when he tutored many children at local schools. He also worked at Kwik Trip where he served up coffee and a smile. Clem and Laura were married on April 1, 1948 and raised six children together. In addition to his wife he is survived by his children, Larry & Ellen Felsheim; Linda & Glen Coisman; Mark & Kathleen Felsheim; Jane & Chris Gencheff and Julie & Ted Wilson, daughter-in-law Donna Felsheim, his grandchildren Lisa & Diana Hargus; Aaron Felsheim; Michelle & Clay Benish; Tracy & Troy Hietpas; Shyla Coisman; Leah Gencheff (Todd Gretencord); Tarren & Tony Cedillo; Ross Gencheff; Luke Wilson; Jena Felsheim; Anna Wilson and Jon Felsheim, seven great-grandchildren, his brother George Felsheim and many other relatives and friends. Clem was preceded in death by his son Mike Felsheim, his brothers Paul, Ralph & Don Felsheim and his parents. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 16, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church with Fr. Dave Carrano officiating. Visitation will be held from 9:30am to the beginning of Mass. "Love you more, so long"
