Clifford D. Woerpel

Madison -- Clifford Donald ""Chink"" Woerpel, age 75, passed away on Tuesday, July 7, 2009, at his home in Madison. He was born on February 8, 1934 in Waterloo, Wisconsin, the son of Robert and Catherine (Hampshire) Woerpel. Chink served in the Army as a Staff Sergeant from 1954 to 1958.

Chink is survived by his son, Jeffrey Woerpel of Oregon; a granddaughter, Lindsey Woerpel, great granddaughter, Madisyn; a sister-in-law, Donna Woerpel of Sun Prairie; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Chink was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Kenneth Woerpel.

A memorial service will be held at CRESS FUNERAL HOME, 3325 E. Washington Avenue, on Saturday, July 11, 2009, at 11:00 a.m. with Father Roger Nilles officiating. A visitation will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, July 11, 2009 from 10:00 a.m. until time of services. Burial will follow at Highland Memory Gardens in Madison.
