Connie Lee Dettloff (born Abrahamson), a resident of Madison, WI, passed away on May 15th, 2024 of natural causes.
Mrs. Dettloff was born on February 6th, 1934 in Sheboygan, Wisconsin the daughter of the late Leroy Abrahamson and Peggy Abrahamson (Liebold)
Connie attended Beloit College and graduated from the University of Wisconsin, Madison where she was a member of Kappa Delta. Connie was an avid knitter, and was an active member of the Knit Wits knitting club, and enjoyed working at the Knitting Tree on State Street, as well as driving for Meals on Wheels. She was also proud to a mother to her three children, Ellen, Erik, and David.
Connie was predeceased by her younger brother Leroy (Tim) Abrahamson. In addition to her husband Rick, Connie is survived by her three children Ellen Fike, Erik Dettloff, and David (Laura) Dettloff, and her two grandchildren Laurel Fike and Kelley Fike.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, June 20, 2024 at Cress Funeral Home, 3610 Speedway Road, Madison, WI 53705. Visitation will be from 10:00 am until the time of service.
