Connie Nemovitz, age 62, of Middleton, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, September 16, 2010. She was born on September 13, 1948, in Norway, Michigan, daughter of Alta and Mary Ann (Triska) Ehly. Connie graduated from Madison West High School in 1966 and married her husband of 40 years, Dr. Paul Nemovitz, on August 20, 1970. Over the years, Connie served as a nurse at Madison General Hospital, La Crosse Lutheran Hospital, St. Clare Hospital in Monroe, and, most recently, St. Mary's Care Center in Madison. She enjoyed spending time with family, traveling to national parks, and was an avid reader. Her passions also included designing house plans (her own house included), watching her butterfly garden bloom, and taking long drives. Connie was preceded in death by her father, Alta, and father-in-law, Edward Nemovitz. She is survived by her husband, Paul; children, David Nemovitz (Amanda Tessar) of Denver, Colorado, Andrea (Chris) Hogg of Madison, and Benjamin Nemovitz of Middleton; mother, Mary Ann; mother-in-law, Mildred Nemovitz; three sisters, Mina Ehly, Carly (Tom) Schmelzer, and Rita (Steve) Wedderspoon; brother, Michael Ehly (Pat Marty); brothers-in-law, Howard Nemovitz (Corrine Ryan) and Bruce (Jeanne) Nemovitz; and sister-in-law, Sharon (Jim) Thurow; along with dozens of other amazing relatives and friends whom she loved. Connie was the proud grandmother of Alex (age 4), Jacob (age 4), and Joshua Nemovitz (age 5 weeks) and Avery Hogg (age 1). Â Above all else, Connie made everyone around her feel nurtured and loved. She will be greatly missed.
