MADISON/STOUGHTON
Connor Brian Johnson, age 19 passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, October 27, 2012 while on a visit to Chicago with his family. Connor was born in Madison on June 29, 1993 the son of Brian and Rebecca (Halverson) Johnson.
He was a 2011 graduate of Stoughton High School and was currently a student at MATC. Connor was naturally creative and curious. He loved art, music of all kinds and pets, and enjoyed fishing and snowboarding.
Connor will be dearly missed by his parents, Brian and Becky Johnson; brothers, Blake and Gavin; the family pets, Rita and Ringo; grandmothers, Audrey Halverson and Nira Johnson; uncles and aunts, Sue (Jeff) Natvig, Margit (John) Gerber, Burton (Jackie) Halverson, Bruce Halverson (friend Lisa Demko), Lydia (Bob) Moore, Mark (Theresa) Johnson, Kathy (Chris) Hackner, and Chad (Stephanie) Johnson; cousins, Christopher, Courtney and Abby Johnson, Ryan, Justin, and Zack Moore, Skyler Beene, Kaitlin and Chase Johnson, Alec and Caleb Johnson, Cory (Michelle) Graffin, Kevin (Adelei) Graffin, Brian (Sara) Stensaas, Paul (Danielle) Gerber, and Emma and Eli Halverson. He will further be missed by his friends.
A celebration of Connor's life will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, November 2, 2012 at Christ Lutheran Church, 700 County Hwy B, Stoughton with Reverend Scott Geister-Jones officiating. Family will greet friends at Cress Funeral Home, 206 W. Prospect Ave., Stoughton on Thursday, November 1, from 4 until 7 p.m. and also at church on Friday one hour prior to service. Burial will be in Wheeler Prairie Cemetery with a luncheon following at Coachman's Golf Resort.
In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, memorials will be used to establish a scholarship fund for Stoughton High School students planning to pursue a degree in Art.
