Corey Murray

Marshall/McFarland - Corey T. Murray, age 50 passed away on Monday, March 27, 2017 at Agrace HospiceCare in Fitchburg with his loving family by his side. He was born on April 20, 1966 in Madison, the son of Charles and Roberta (Meyers) Murray.

On January 4, 1986 Corey was united in marriage to Ronda Moen in Madison, Wisconsin. Over the years, they raised five beautiful children. For 32 years, Corey worked for various warehouses in the food service industry. His life revolved around coaching wrestling and baseball for youth club teams in Marshall. When his son lived in Las Vegas he thoroughly enjoyed the two times he was able to go there to visit. Corey had a passion for sports either watching them on the television with the kids or when he was able to attend a game with either his wife or sister. He also enjoyed going to movies with his brother. Family was the core foundation on which Corey instilled to his family. He loved it when he was able to get the family together no matter the reason. Plus, if he was able to get the family together, this was even more of a motive to grill out! Corey touched so many hearts and lives. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Corey is survived by his wife, Ronda Murray of Marshall; his mother, Roberta "Bobbi" (Pat Harrington) Seim; five children; Curtis (Heather) Murray of Waterloo, Brandon (Brittany) Murray of Marshall, Andrew "AJ" Murray of Marshall, Joshua (Tessa) Murray of Marshall and Allissa "Sissy" Murray of Marshall; five grandchildren, Cash, Jase, Aaryn, Keeley, and Nalani; five siblings, Melody (Pat) Sullivan, Clifford (Tammie) Murray, Cindy (Rob) Landsberg, Charles "Tim" Murray and Huldah (Jeff) Walheim. He was preceded in death by his father.

Funeral services will be held at CRESS FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICE, 1310 Emerald Terrace, Sun Prairie, WI 53590 on Saturday, April 1, 2017 at 11:00 am with Reverend Bonita Vize officiating. A visitation will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, April 1, 2017 from 10:00 am until the time of service.
