Stoughton- Dale A. Storck, age 75, passed away at Meriter Hospital in Madison on Friday, October 14, 2011. He was born in Delevan on May 3, 1936, a son of Arthur and Dorothy (Annen) Storch. On May 17, 1958, he was united in marriage to Patricia Horton. Dale loved spending weekends at the cabin up North, going out to eat, riding in the car, sitting on his porch, and playing cribbage and euchre with Patricia's family. He loved nature and watching deer. He enjoyed having everyone over for holidays, and especially enjoyed Halloween. He was also a Packer and Badger fan. Dale is survived by 2 daughters, Lona (Ronald Hendrickson) Hjortland and Christine (Mark) Miller; a son, Todd Storck; grandchildren, Amanda (Paul) Updike, Travis and Elizabeth Miller, and Kaiden Storck; sisters and brothers-in-law, Bev Pharo, Bob and Mary Horton, and Dorothy Bronson; and by many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife Patricia in 1998, his parents, Arthur and Dorothy; a brother, Allen; and a sister, Darlene. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 18, 2011 at 11:00 am at Christ Lutheran Church, 700 Hwy B, Stoughton, with the Rev. Scott Geister-Jones officiating. Burial will follow at Lutheran Cemetery South. The family will greet friends on Monday, October 17th from 4:00 to 7:00 pm at the Cress Funeral Home in Stoughton, and again at church on Tuesday from 10:00 am until the time of service. Special thanks to Dale's former co-worker, "Meloria" for his faithful friendship, and to the staff at Meriter Hospital for their care and support.
