Daniel Lee Bell

Sun Prairie/Madison-Daniel L. Bell, age 59, passed away on Saturday, November 15, 2008 at the HospiceCare Center, Fitchburg.  He was born on Jully 18, 1949, in Madison the son of Walter & Amy (Lee) Bell.  Mr. Bell was united in marriage to Katherine A. Washa on April 20, 1968 in Madison   He was a lifelong resident of the Madison area.  Dan was employed with the City of Madison with the Streets Department for over 36 years.  He is survived by his wife of  40 years , Katherine of Sun Prairie; his son, David (Kara) Bell, Madison; his brothers, John (Marilyn) Dahlby, Cross Plains, Ronnie Kleinfeldt, Mt. Horeb and Dean Bell, Madison; his sister, Cheryl (James) Marek, Waunakee; his beloved grand puppies, Emmet & Daisy; several nephews, grand nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by his parents.  A memorial service will be held on Thursday, November 20, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. with Chaplain Stephen Zwettler officiating. A time of gathering will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. A reception will be held following service in the Cress Community Room in the funeral home.
