Darell Harrington

Sun Prairie- Darell B. Harrington, age 77, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Saturday, September 1, 2012 at Agrace HospiceCare Center, Fitchburg, after a long illness. He was the son of William & Hazel Harrington, the youngest of 10 children, all deceased. Darell served in the U.S. Army and was a Presidential Honor Guard. He retired from the Department of Agriculture after 30 years of service. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, June; his sons, David (Cheryl) and Patrick; his daughter, Cheryl (Ron) Wake; his grandchildren, Josh, Matt & Alicia; his great-grandchild, Raelee; other relatives and friends. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, September 6, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Albert the Great Catholic Church, 2420 St. Albert Dr., Sun Prairie with Msgr. Terrence L. Connors presiding. A visitation will be held on Thursday at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of mass. Internment will be held at Sacred Hearts Cemetery, Sun Prairie. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Agrace HospiceCare or the charity of your choice.
