Dave Schneider

SUN PRAIRIE—Dave F. Schneider, age 58, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, February 27, 2021.  He was born on January 19, 1963 in Lancaster, WI to Leo and Eileen (Ferris) Schneider.  He married Pauline on May 24, 2014.

Dave started working in the construction field with his dad, and he continued this career for over 50 years throughout the U.S., most recently in Wisconsin.  He enjoyed camping, hunting, off-roading, and traveling. Starting with playing bass at the age of 8, Dave would perform with his brothers and eventually became the sound tech for Blue Steel Band as well.

Dave always kept busy.  Whether it was tinkering in the garage, stopping at his brother’s home, or working on a side job, Dave was always working.

Dave is survived by his wife Pauline; children Daniel Schneider and Dori (Alex) Frankos; grandson Mason Frankos; and stepson Caden Schwartz.  He is further survived by his siblings Mary Johnson, Barb (Gary) Reuter, and Rick (Sue) Schneider; sister-in-law Glenda Schneider; and many other relatives and dear friends.

Dave was preceded in death by his parents Leo and Eileen Schneider and brother Michael Schneider.

A visitation will be from 11:00AM-1:00 PM on Friday, March 5, 2021 at Cress Funeral Service, 1310 Emerald Terrace, Sun Prairie, WI 53590 with a memorial service to begin at 1:00 PM.

Dave was an incredibly loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend.      He will be surely missed by all those who knew and loved him.
