Deerfield - David Anthony Amati, age 56, passed away unexpectedly at his home in Deerfield on Saturday, November 5, 2011. Formerly of Bensenville, Illinois, David was born on November 13, 1954, a son of Anthony and Virginia (Karnuth) Amati. He will always be remembered for the passion for weather forecasting he had since childhood. David was always grateful to his maternal grandfather for giving him his love for trees. He is survived by his father, Anthony; sisters, Diane (Tim) Rhinerson and Evelyn (Randy) Rossi; a brother, Daniel Amati; nieces; and nephews. He will be fondly missed by his longtime girlfriend, Sue. David was preceded in death by his mother, Virginia. Private family services will take place at a later date.
