David Densmore

June 18, 1952 — November 13, 2013

Madison - David "Dave" C. Densmore, age 61 passed away unexpectedly at his home on Wednesday, November 13, 2013. He was born on June 18, 1952 in Clinton, Massachusetts, the son of Harold and Lois (Ullrich) Densmore. Dave loved being a father and enjoyed watching his daughter, Brittany grow into a young lady. In the most recent years, he always looked forward to a good psychological debate with his daughter and would often position himself as the devil's advocate. Dave was contracted for the State of Wisconsin at the Department of Administration for print services. He truly loved his job and enjoyed everyone he worked with. He often said they were like a second family to him. In his spare time, Dave had a true talent in photography and took time out for his passion of music.
Dave is survived by his best friend and partner; Didi (Dianne Booth) Densmore, his daughter; Brittany Densmore all of Madison, his mother; Lois Brooks of New Hampshire, dear friend; Adrienne Omen of Madison and two sisters; Linda (Paul) Mertz of New Hampshire and Deborah (David) Nichols of Maine. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, other loving family and friends.
Dave was preceded in death by his father.
A celebration of his life will be held Saturday, November 16, 2013 at 3:30 pm at CRESS FUNERAL HOME, 3325 E. Washington Ave., Madison with Reverend Jerry Amstutz officiating.
