David Ducharme

Madison - David J. DuCharme, age 64, died unexpectedly at St. Mary's Hospital on Sunday, May 17, 2015. Dave was born on December 1, 1950 in Oshkosh, WI to the late Kenneth and Marjorie DuCharme. He graduated from U.W. Platteville with a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science. After graduation, Dave moved to Madison and worked at CUNA Mutual for 28 years and WPS for 7 years. He retired from WPS in 2013. Dave was a lover of sports and enjoyed being athletic. He enjoyed the many friends he met while playing team sports, including softball, bowling and golf. No matter where he went, he would always see someone he knew or made friends quickly.

Dave is survived by his wife of 31 years, Karen; his daughter, Gabrielle; one sister, Marty Kelnhofer of Stevens Point, 3 brothers; Jeffrey (Lynn) DuCharme of St. Joseph, MI, Douglas (Sally) DuCharme of Gig Harbor, WA, Steven DuCharme of West Bend, other relatives and many friends.

Dave was preceded in death by his parents.

Friends may join the family for a visitation on Thursday, May 21 from 4pm-7pm at Cress Funeral Home, 3610 Speedway Rd, Madison. A Celebration of Dave's life will take place at 7pm.
