David Robert Gochberg, beloved father, husband, brother, and son-in-law, 53, passed away quietly on September 29 after a short illness. He is survived by his wife, Laura, daughter Ariel, son Aaron, brothers Jonathan and Joel, and uncle and aunt Howard and Karen Gochberg .  A graduate of James Madison Memorial High School in 1972, Dave studied music at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and was an active and accomplished drummer in numerous musical groups including the UW Marching Band, Pep Band, and Percussion Ensembles, The State Street Review, Out of the West with Beverly Jean, Task Force and The Cheeters. In recent years, Dave served on the Dane County Regional Planning Commission, Dane County BUILD Advisory Committee, Capitol Community Citizens Committee, and the Village of Oregon Historic Preservation Commission.
