David Hamilton

Sun Prairie-David E. Hamilton, age 93, passed away on Saturday, December 10, 2011. David was born on April 9, 1918 in Aubrey, WI the son of Eugene and Anna (Lipska) Hamilton. On April 28, 1951, he was united in marriage with Helen Behn in Rock Springs, WI and they celebrated 60 years of marriage. David was an air technician with the Air National Guard. He worked for 38 years with the Air National Guard at Truax Field. Before that, he was with the United States Army Air Corp, the Seventh Air Force and the Twentieth Air Force. David served in the South Pacific Theatre during WWII. David is survived by his wife, Helen of Sun Prairie; his daughter Kay (Dwight Jelle) of Arkansaw, WI; his brother Harold (Lois); nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Cecil and sister Mae. Inurnment will be North Freedom, WI. Honoring David's wishes there will be no formal services. Those wishing to send memorials in David's name may do so to the Diabetes Foundation or to a charity of your choice.
