David Henne

David Henne, age 76

On June 30th, 2019, a man who was loved and respected by friends and family left us for another place.

Dave suffered a seizure due to complication from a stroke resulting in brain surgery in 2014. Since that time, he was lovingly cared for at home. Dave was well educated, receiving a "Masters of Fine Arts" from The University of Wisconsin. He had many talents and possessed a keen Welsh sense of humor. He never said much, but what he said was well worth listening to.

Dave and his wife Ann spent their 51 years of marriage in Sun Prairie teaching, remodeling, collecting, traveling, and enjoying time spent together. They raised three children, D'Arcy (Steve) Pogue, David Suprise and Daniel (Stacy) Henne. Dave enjoyed grandchildren Michael (Victoria) Pogue, and Madeline and Mya Henne. Great-grandchild Roark Pogue never was lucky enough to have met him.
