David G. Hope, Jr.

David George Hope, Jr., age 61 passed away suddenly on January 4, 2010 in Madison. David was born in Milwaukee on May 16, 1948, the son of the late David G. and Edith Rose (Hertzfeld) Hope, Sr.  He was united in marriage to Penny Leavitt. David enjoyed camping, road trips, music, animals-especially cats, and Harleys. He was most passionate about astrology.

David is survived by his dear wife, Penny; step-daughter, Jennifer (Roberto Rivera) Leavitt-Moy; two brothers, including his identical twin, Dana W. Hope and Peter J. ""Cowboy"" Hope. He is further survived by many friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, Timothy R. Hope.

A Memorial Service will be held at 12 Noon on Friday, January 8, 2010 at Cress Funeral Home, 6021 University Ave, Madison with the Reverend Ralph Leavitt officiating. Family will greet friends from 11 am until the time of service at the funeral home.
