MADISON/ VERONA - David S. Starczynski, age 59, died Sunday, Jan. 31, 2010, at HospiceCare. David was born May 13, 1950, in Madison, the son of Stanley and Josephine (Marty) Starczynski. Raised in Dodgeville, David was a graduate of Dodgeville High School in 1968. He was a longtime resident of Verona having worked at Carnes Company for 35 years. David's passions were cars, photography, nature and traveling to Montana. He always experienced his true inner-self in the out-of-doors. David is survived by his wife, Diane (Guinea); stepdaughter, Amy Koehler; brothers, Michael (Fritz), Dan, Larry (Sherry) and Bob; sisters, JoAnn (Bob) Disch and Betty (Tom) Koberle; mother-in-law, Marie Guinea; many nieces and nephews; and his special pet cat, Jimmy. David was preceded in death by his parents; and sister-in-law, Suey Starczynski. David's family is most grateful to Dr Glen Liu and the staff at UW Oncology for the care and support given to David over these past years and to the staff at HospiceCare. A visitation will be held Thursday, Feb. 4, 2010, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at CRESS FUNERAL HOME, 3610 Speedway Road, Madison. A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, Feb. 6, 2010, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the VERONA LEGION HALL, 207 Legion St., Verona. Memorials in David's name may be made to the David Starczynski Fund, Park Bank, P.O.
