David Wennen

MADISON - David Wennen, age 27, died Friday, Feb 26, 2010 after fighting a longtime battle with depression.

He was born on April 19, 1982 in Madison, the son of Bradley and Margaret Wennen. He graduated from UW Milwaukee with a BA in History in 2005 and received an Associate Degree in Electron Microscopy from MATC in 2007. He was employed as an electron microscope technician at Electron Microscope Services Laboratory in Westmont, NJ until October 2009, at which time he was laid off and returned to Madison.

He is survived by his parents, Bradley and Margaret Wennen of Madison; one sister, Christine Wennen (Randy) of Eagan, MN; his maternal grandmother, Ruth Ley of Madison and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 6, 2010 at ORCHARD RIDGE UCC, 1501 Gilbert Road, Madison. Rev. Winton Boyd will officiate. Visitation and a reception will follow the funeral service.
