Deanna Zychowski

Zychowski, Deanna, age 76, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her family after a courageous battle with Parkinson's disease On Wednesday, July 9, 2014. Deanna was born September 28, 1937 in Madison. She was the daughter to Morris and Martha ( Tuschen) Pendleton. Deanna was united in marriage to Richard Zychowski.

After graduating from MATC, Deanna started with the Department of Regulation and Licensing for the State of Wisconsin as a minute taker and then climbed her way up to director of health professions. She retired after 54 years. Deanna loved traveling to foreign countries with family and friends. She enjoyed bingo and gambling and volunteering at the Colonial Club.

Deanna is survived by her son Michael of Houston; granddaughter Jamie( Chad) Gamer; great-granddaughter Haydn Gamer; son in law John Lyste; siblings; Betty Pendleton, Sister Ann Christine Pendleton SSND, John ( Eileen) Pendleton; and Jen ( Jerry) Tilley. Deanna was preceded in death by her husband Richard; daughter Lynne Lyste and grandson Christopher John "CJ" Lyste.

A memorial mass for Deanna will be held Wednesday, July 16, 2014 at 11:30am at St. Albert the Great Catholic Church, 2420 St. Albert Drive, Sun Prairie with Monsignor Terrence Connors presiding. Visitation will be held from 10:30am until time of service at the church.
Deanna will be laid to rest next to her husband at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Albert the Great Catholic Church, Michael J. Fox Parkinson's Foundation, or charity of your choice.
