Deborah Ann Carter

Madison -- Deborah Ann Carter, age 61, passed away peacefully with family and friends on Thursday, November 18, 2010, at UW Hospital in Madison.She was born on December 26, 1948 in Prairie du Chien, the daughter of Darrell and Margerie (Oakey) Duncan. Deborah was united in marriage to John Carter on September 4, 1981 in Madison. She worked for Madison Metro for 15 years. Deborah was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter and friend. She was a devoted homemaker and a mother to many.

Deborah is survived by her children, Chris Oliver, Yalanda (Shaun) Daniels, Amy Carter, Brandie Carter and Shauntay Carter; 11 grandchildren, Tyler, Dejuenae, Titus, Alize', Elijah, Shaun, Vonte' Tiarra, Cashius, Jasmine and Shaundell; father and stepmother, Darrel and Helen Duncan; many nieces, nephews, friends and other extend family that she loved so much. Deborah was preceded in death by her mother and her husband John.

Funeral services will be held at CRESS FUNERAL HOME, 3325 E. Washington Avenue, on Saturday, November 27, 2010, at 3:00 p.m. A visitation will be held at the funeral home on Saturday from 1:00 p.m. until time of services.
