Debra Sheskey

Madison - Debra S. Sheskey, age 58, passed away on Saturday, December 5, 2015 at
Meriter Hospital in Madison. She was born on July 28, 1957 in Albert Lea, Minnesota the
daughter of Robert and Deloris (Millette) Haak. She was united in marriage to Mark
Sheskey on March 16, 1993 in Madison, Wisconsin.

Debbie was a fun loving, sassy, opinionated person who always had an open door to anyone who needed a helping hand. She loved her grandchildren (her babies as she often called them) and loved spending time with them. Debbie had many cats throughout the years, she loved her cats as if they were her children. Debbie was a caregiver in her profession giving comfort and aid to Alzheimer's patients for many years. She never judged anyone and always believed in second (sometimes third and fourth) chances as long as you were doing the best you could. She enjoyed traveling, especially to Mexico so she could take full advantage of the all-inclusive resorts, moving from restaurant to restaurant and eating, she loved that. Recently she spent time furnishing and remodeling an old cottage transforming it to her little get-away in the woods, a cozy place for all to come and feel close to her. Debbie loved her husband and her two boys and was always so proud of them; family was her world.

She is survived by her husband, Mark Sheskey; sons, Calvin (Dianne) Meece and Adam
(Jami) Meece; grandchildren, Caley and Gavin Meece and Alyssa, Austin, Adam, Ashton
and Addison Meece; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Debra was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers, Bobby, William and Jeffrey
Haak, and a sister, Kathleen Leffingwell.

A funeral service will be held at CRESS FUNERAL HOME, 3325 East Washington Ave.
Madison on Saturday, December 12, 2015, at 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Resurrection
Cemetery in Madison. A visitation will be held at the funeral home on Saturday from
11:00 a.m. until the time of the service
