Dennis "Denny" Burkeland

Sun Prairie - Dennis Burkeland, age 65, passed away on Saturday February 15, 2025. He was born on August 3, 1959 the son of Donald and Betty Burkeland. Dennis married Wendy List on April 25, 2014 in Dane County, WI.

Denny started in the Wisconsin Union Serviceman’s Apprenticeship Program in the early 1980’s. He finished his career as a Master Serviceman working for Madison Sheet Metal. He took a lot of pride in what he did and where he worked. Denny was a deep source of knowledge and guidance for everyone who knew him. In his younger years he enjoyed golf, bow hunting and fishing. He enjoyed carving and crafting wooden projects for family. He had a dry quick wit and a sense of humor that will be missed.

Denny is survived by his wife Wendy List; daughter Alayna (Scott) Logan; his mother Betty Burkeland; brothers Rick (Andrea) Burkeland and David (Charlene) Burkeland and sister Susan (Garry) Rose.

He is preceded in death by his father Donald Burkeland.

There will be no services for Dennis.
