Dennis Zahn

Dennis Zahn, age 65, passed away on Tuesday, August 14, 2012 at Select Specialty Hospital in Madison. He was born in Milwaukee on May 16, 1947, a son of Earl and Rose (Schultz) Zahn. On June 4, 1966, he was united in marriage to Rosemary Gollnick. Dennis worked as a supervisor for many years at MPI. He was a very good supervisor, who cared about his employees and led by example. Dennis was a proud father and grandfather. He enjoyed spending time with family at the camper, and deer hunting every year with his sons and brother Jim. Dennis enjoyed going out to eat, especially for cheeseburgers.
He is survived by his wife, Rose; 3 sons, Scott (Jackie), Brian (Becky), and Andy (Amy) Zahn; 5 grandchildren, Lena, Emily, Cody, Jordan & Paige; 3 brothers, Jerry (Lenore), Ron (Kathy), and Jim (Diane) Zahn; a sister, Denise (Erwin) Wuehr; and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral services will be held at 4:00 pm at St. Paul's Liberty Lutheran Church, 3494 Oak Park Rd., Deerfield, on Sunday, August 19, 2012, with Rev. Richard Blomker officiating. The family will greet friends at church on Sunday from 2:00 pm until the time of service at 4:00 pm. Following services, a luncheon reception will be held at church. Burial will be private.
